While ChatGPT exhibits impressive conversational abilities, it also has limitations. It may generate plausible-sounding but incorrect or nonsensical answers. It can be sensitive to input phrasing and may exhibit biased behavior due to biases present in the training data. Continuous research and user feedback help address these limitations.

I appreciate Open AI's analogy of ChatGPT as an eager puppy, aiming to please. It shows their intention to create a helpful and responsive tool. Storytell's approach of summarizing or interacting with specific content instead of pulling from the entire training data is a smart way to combat bias.
Speaking of bias, it's crucial to acknowledge that if the content being summarized is biased, the summary will reflect that bias. This serves as a reminder of the importance of ensuring quality inputs for accurate outputs.

Hello, it's great to see that you're actively addressing the challenges posed by ChatGPT's "eager puppy" nature and the potential for bias in the content it summarizes. By focusing on specific pieces of content and interacting with them rather than relying solely on the training data at large, you're taking proactive steps to mitigate these concerns.
Indeed, the quality of the output depends on the quality of the input, and if the content being summarized is biased, the summary will reflect that bias as well. Being mindful of the "garbage in, garbage out" principle is crucial to maintain accuracy and fairness in the summaries generated by AI models.

Hi Parker -- such a good point.
Open AI has described ChatGPT as an eager puppy, aiming to please. One way that we're combatting this at Storytell is that instead of pulling from the training data at large, we're summarizing or interacting with specific pieces of content.
With regard to bias, if the content you're summarizing is biased, the summary would represent that bias as well. "Garbage in, garbage out," as they say.
We're so with you about the importance of user feedback -- we reach out to users on a daily basis, over social media, Slack, email, in user groups, in this forum to gather feedback and learn from it. Is there any feedback you have for us?
